What should a new client know about working with you?

As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I earned my Master's in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and Master's of Science in Nursing at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I worked as a psychiatric Registered Nurse at McLean Hospital within the psychotic disorder division and crisis stabilization team. I have also recently been recognized as the 2024 George and Regina Herzlinger Prize in Memory of Rebecca Colvin reward recipient for extensive work on my graduate scholarly research project - Initial Evidence of Feasibility and Impact of a New Mindfulness-Based Intervention for Individuals Recovering from Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: Results from a Mixed Methods Formative Evaluation.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
