About Dr. Bret Langenberg

I am a former Navy General Surgeon who has been in practice locally in San Diego for over 20 years. It continues to be my privilege to care for people in the community and collaborate with them in their care. My practice encompasses minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery(gallbladder, hernias, colon surgery, etc) to when necessary tradition open surgical approaches. I also care for those suffering from anorectal concerns to include hemorrhoids, anal fissures and fistulas, and tumors of this area as well. Attention is also given to patients with soft tissue masses, pilonidal disease, hidradenitis suppurativa, skin cancers and breast concerns; male and female. My goal is to tailor care specific to the patient, their diagnosis, and exact the appropriate surgical approach, when warranted. This is a traditional general surgery practice where the patient has access to the office staff and me as their surgeon; no answering service is employed.
