About Bria Giddens
Mrs. Bria Giddens is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, originally from DeSoto, TX. She earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Texas Christian University. As a registered nurse, Bria expanded her professional experience by working in high-risk obstetrics, case management, and utilization review, with prior work experience in inpatient medical-surgical departments. During this time, she began the family nurse practitioner program at Texas Women's University, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Degree.
Bria is now affiliated with Dallas Internal Medicine Associates as an advancer practice provider, and she prioritizes preventative care while helping patients reach their goals and manage their issues. Her areas of expertise include women's health issues, endocrine disorder management (obesity, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and PCOS), and health promotion (cancer screenings, wellness exams, cardiovascular risk, and mental health screening). She is dedicated to making a positive impact within her home community. She is also a proud member of both North Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
