I started seeing Dr. Chang over a year ago for a variety of reasons and he has always produced results for me. From treating me for jet lag after 'red eye' flights to treating back and neck pain, he has brought me relief in every case. He has also helped me with use of natural products to deal with issues like swelling in my ankles and feet when I fly. Dr. Chang has an excellent 'bed side manner', always very caring and respectful. About Dr. Brian Chang
MY STORY
Before pursuing medicine, I followed a more ?traditional? career path. After graduating from Columbia University with a B.S. in Engineering and Management Systems, I worked for Ernst & Young, Thomson Financial, and other Wall Street firms as a strategy consultant and pharmaceutical compliance analyst. This experience helped me understand the unique pressures many of my patients face.
One day, I was in a horrific car accident that left me in a coma. Doctors told my family I had less than a 10% chance to survive. Though I eventually awakened, I was immobile for three months and suffered severe injuries, including 70% hearing loss in my right ear, loss of smell, migraines, and vertigo. When doctors in the U.S. said they had exhausted options, I went to Asia for acupuncture and herbal medicine. The results were miraculous: my hearing loss improved to 15-20% (avoiding surgery), migraines and vertigo disappeared, and I could jog again. If you saw me today, you'd likely say, ?What accident??
After recovering, I returned to Wall Street but soon felt restless. Surviving death was a ?life changing? experience that altered my goals. After prayer and reflection, I left business to pursue acupuncture and herbal medicine to help others as I was helped. I earned my Doctor of Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science, completed a Master's at the Swedish Institute, and an internship at Montefiore Medical Center. I have never regretted this decision and am grateful to do work I love that helps people.
God has also blessed me with an amazing wife and two great dogs (Champy & Checkers). Thanks to my wife, I'm now learning Latin Ballroom Dancing and the Hustle. Please pray for my stiff hips to move. Oh yeah, acupuncture works for that too!

I have moderate to severe scoliosis and have been seen countless doctors to help me manage my pain. It's often frustrating as everything to assist me is out of pocket. Therefore, I will not continue with someone unless it's effective for me. Acupuncture never helped me in the past but I gave it another go and am so grateful I met Dr. Chang. He's an extremely spiritual and caring person who genuinely wants to help me and that is so refreshing for all I've been through. Most knowledgeable acupuncturist in town; has special training and methodology that is very unique. Highly recommend. Results speak for themselves.

"Dr. Chang is one of those rare doctors that truly cares about his patients and takes the time to understand the issue and how to best treat it. I have been a patient for 2 years and worked on a few issues with Dr. Chang, but one of the most life changing was his treatments for my allergies. I had suffered allergies for 20 years and has to take medication every day. 2 years ago the medication stopped working and I was miserable. After 3-4 treatments, the symptoms improved and after 6-8 treatments, the allergies were gone. I no longer need to take medication. Occasionally, I have a flare up but with a few treatments it goes away. I continue to be amazed with Dr. Chang's knowledge about the body and how to treat it using accupuncture. And the cherry on top is that he is just a really good guy. I highly recommend Dr. Chang."

Dr. Chang has helped me so much with my autoimmune issues. I was often on medical leaves from work due to physical ailments. Since beginning treatment with Dr. Change, I have not been on disability. We have started some facial rejuvenation in addition to my wellness treatments lately with great results. I have an immense fear of needles, and Dr. Chang has patiently worked with me and tailored my treatments to my tolerance. I have recommended him to many other people, and he has been able to help anyone that has visited.

I was visiting Dr. Chang for my neck and jaw pains for 6 - 7 months. He helped me to tremendously improve most of my symptoms to the level where I can hardly notice any pain. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable. He can fix the digestive issues in just 1 -2 sessions. I am missing being treated by him as I had to move out of the city for my new job. I highly recommend Dr. Chang.

Dr. Chang is honest and gets right to the root of the problem. Comfortable environment and a serious treatment plan that get you back to being healthy. I got hit by a drunk driver and Dr. Chang got me back on track. Now I have mobility back in my leg as well as no more low back pain!

I suffered from numbness in my hands or what medical professionals call neuropathy. I met various doctors and most of them wanted me on prescription medications with loads of side effects. After meeting with Dr. Chang he not only treated me but helped explain the nutritional deficiencies that could have contributed to the ailment I was having. He was the only Dr. that could figure me out!

Being an athlete, I have had issues with pulled muscles and pinched nerves on a regular basis. After seeing Dr. Chang he fixed all of the problems I was experiencing, from shim splints to issues with my plantar fasciitis. Dr. Chang has worked with many pro athletes such as Jason Pierre - Paul, Aurelian Collin of the NY Red Bulls's & various basketball players from Seton Hall. If pro level and university athletes have trusted Dr. Chang with their concerns then he is definitely worth seeing.

I cannot recommend Dr. Chang enough! He truly cares about his patients and works to address the root causes of health issues. He is genuinely invested in your health and wellness from the moment you meet him. he has helped me with a variety of issues, and I am eternally grateful to him for all of his dedication and help. He is an all - star with acupuncture and cupping. My incredible results in such a short time have been nothing short of phenomenal! If you suffer from any kind of health issue or injury, he is the best to see for fast healing. His office and staff are warm and inviting, as well as very timely and helpful. Can't recommend him enough!

Great experience at this office. I have seen many accupuncturists and Dr. Chang is by far the best. I had restless legs and some nerve problems. Dr. Chang is an expert in his field and he will get to the bottom of your aliment. Dr. Chang helped alleviate all my issues and now I am back to playing tennis on the weekends with my friends.

Dr. Brian was awesome! I went in congested and in agony from a headache. Moments after he took care of me I felt almost instantaneously better. With his instructions and treatment I was relieved of my congestion and didn't miss any time from work. Thank you!

Not only does Dr. Chang bring warmth to his patients, he takes the time to truly understand the issue(s) and explains, in great detail, how to appropriately treat the issue. I saw Dr. Chang for the first time a few days ago and left his office feeling a sense of peace and complete relaxation. My visit was the first time receiving acupuncture and Dr. Chang throughly explained each step and continuously inquired about my comfort level. My entire experience was superb, from the moment of arriving in the office and seeing Dr. Chang himself cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, to the complimentary bottle water, to the treatment. Dr. Chang is an encyclopedia of information regarding the human body, traditional Chinese medicine, and holistic approaches. I enjoyed the conversation just as much as the treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Chang for any of your acupuncture needs.

Dr. Chang is the best. He is very attentive and takes his time with you. Everytime I leave there I feel great not to mention retrivanated. I have chronic shoulder and neck issues. He was the one physician who healed my issue. Also I like to mention the music and atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful. Just what everyone can use after a long hard day. Thank you Dr. Chang.

There aren't enough positive things that I can say about Dr. Chang. I began receiving treatment
about a year ago after the tragic loss Of my daughter shortly after giving birth. I was desperate for
something to help with my emotional and physical healing and decided to try acupuncture
(massages and yoga weren't enough!). Aside from the amazing results I experienced from
acupuncture, Dr. Chang helped me tremendously by being empathetic, caring and provided great
advice. I have recommended Dr. C to multiple people who have all been so happy with their results
as well. He's awesome!
