Made appt for adhd evaluation and was not assessed for it. Their office is not doing that at this time. Waste of my time.

I was scheduled for a consultation with Dr. Pell and was two mins late to the appointment. From the moment the appointment began, he was rude, dismissive, and belittling, making me feel like my concerns didn’t make sense. As a psychiatrist his job is to listen and provide guidance with empathy, yet his behavior was the opposite. Abuse of power was glaring throughout the consultation. Even though I was sleep-deprived and in a vulnerable state (and maybe I wasn’t making sense), I was able to recognize how inappropriate and harmful his conduct was. I strongly caution others to stay away.

Dr Pell gave me the time to talk, asked me questions, got to know me. Listened to me. Recommended and asked my thoughts on the recommendation, and educated me. I genuinely appreciated my visit with him I felt finally listened to when it came to my health and importantly educated on it as well

Dr. Pell is far from the worst psych I’ve seen, but I am disappointed in how our session went. It could just be that I’m too shy, but I felt interrogated. He asked why I wanted to see another Psych after 2 years with my current provider and I told him it’s because I’ve only seen 1 and they put me in lots of medication so my mom thought it would be good to get a second opinion just in case. During our session I mentioned this to Dr. Pell and he replied “that was bad advice” and reiterated it a couple times. I understand he can’t provide the same treatment in 30 minutes vs my dr of 2 years. But I just felt discouraged and stuck with my other psych. In summary, he’s not necessarily rude or mean, but he is very assertive and can lack tact at times. Usually a doctor like this won’t bother me but during a psychiatric appointment you’re too vulnerable.

Just a script writer. He showed no interest in understanding my history and quickly referred me to somewhere else. After waiting 10 minutes for him to fix his audio issues, 2 minutes of him asking me surface level questions, 2 minutes of me explaining how displeased I was with his lack of empathy, 1 minute of him fumbling over his I don't know responses to my questions, the call was over. Would never recommend.

Dr. Pell was punctual, professional, and understanding. He was very to the point, which I enjoyed. I came not looking for confirmation, but an honest and genuine consultation. This was exactly that.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Pell in my quest for a new psychiatrist, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. From the moment he signed in, it felt as though he was more interested in mocking me than understanding my concerns. His laughter felt belittling rather than friendly, leaving me feeling dismissed and unheard. It was disheartening to find myself in a vulnerable position, seekingHelp from a so-called “professional health care provider,” only to feel ridiculed instead of supported. I left the appointment feeling defeated and disillusioned. It’s truly astonishing how some individuals in the mental health industry can treat those who come to them for help. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend him to anyone in need of compassionate care.

Dr. Pell was great! He was very warm and kind and listened with care to my needs and experience. I didn’t ever feel rushed to end the appt. He asked if I had any questions at the end and when I did he took the time to explain and then asked again if I had more questions. I felt very taken care of. I highly recommend him.

One of the worst experiences with a psychiatrist- he was 10 minutes late to the session, and he kept trying to push medication onto me. Medication that I repeated multiple times (at least 4x) that I don’t want to take until I’ve exhausted my options and then he got almost aggressive when I asked if there were any alternatives. I was hesitant to ask him questions because I honestly wanted the session to be over. He was not personable, he interrupted me quite rudely, was almost condescending in the way he went about my concerns, research and suggestions. I immediately booked another psychiatrist right after the session because I came out of it feeling much worse than before.

The short time I had with Dr. Pell was unpleasant. Loud typing which was distracting and unhelpful. My situation required not only ongoing care but also a medical note for critical points in my life. Dismissive and not a good listener.

My experience with Dr. Pell was extremely pleasant. He was very personable, warm, and easy going. He listened without judgment and helped to create a regimen based off of my specific needs. I am very grateful for the experience.

I will NEVER be returning to Dr. Pell. He accidentally prescribed my medication twice in a month so my insurance would not cover it. I understand that mistakes happen but with my condition, I need my medications. If he cant even get that right, there's something seriously wrong.

Dr. Pell is very competent, kind and patient. I saw him via video chat this morning and he was very thorough in his questioning and considered all avenues before reaching a conclusion on the best course of action. I’d highly recommend him as he’s easy to talk to, has a kind demeanor and clearly well versed.

It was fine, I guess. during the session he asked me for all of the answers to intake docs I did then when I asked him why he was since I answered them, he said something to the effect of well if you put the info on the form we wouldn't need to do this now in a very rude way. I knew I did it, there might have been a technical issue but he made me feel like an idiot over it. secondly, I've taken dozens of medications over my life and honestly don't remember all the details. he was questioning me and picking at everything I said medication wise and it felt like he was vetting me for drug seeking behavior. which I fully understand and appreciate it, but I didn't really like being treated like a liar and a criminal.
