This doctor is going to push you off to other people. I booked a consultation for continuation of care, and after 30 minutes Dr. Zachariah told me not only would he prescribe the meds I’m already on, but he wouldn’t give me any new ones until I did a bunch of tests to “prove” my issues. He told me it would be a couple of months before I could get my perceptions, and offered me a list of referrals and told me to try to get my meds from my primary care doctor. He also suggested I keep seeing my previous provider, who is in NJ, even though I told him I was full time in Texas. I’d filled out extensive forms before the appointment and was extremely surprised that no one contacted me to tell me they couldn’t do continuation of care. Don’t waste your time- sometimes if a provider has a quick appointment time there is a reason.
