Dr. Briana Brown, D.O., F.A.A.D, received a Bachelor of Science in Biologic for West Virginia University, graduating cumma sum laude, then transitioned to her medical degree training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. During her time in medical school, Dr. Brown served as a reserve U.S. Army Officer while managing the stressors of medical school. Upon medical school graduation, Dr. Brown became an active-duty U.S. Army Officer and completed her prestigious Dermatology residency training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. It was during her residency she was able to receive focused training in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Brown was able to shadow Dr. Tina Alster in Washington, D.C. – who is revered as the nation’s top cosmetic Dermatologist. She also helped develop and implement a cosmetic training program to teach other Dermatology residents at Walter Reed. Dr. Brown went on to serve as a military Dermatologist, finishing her active duty commitment as a Major and the Chief of Dermatology at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Dr. Brown is married to Michael Brown, and they share four children together. Briana & Michael Brown together built Monument Dermatology after building Southern Dermatology in the South. They are proud to call Pittsburgh, PA home!
