Hello, I'm Bridgette Reed, a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist based in Georgia. With 7 years of experience as a therapist and a personal journey of being married to a Veteran for 7 years, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. Our blended family of four children has enriched my understanding of family dynamics and the challenges that come with them. My passion lies in helping others, and I am committed to being a reliable and supportive presence for each of my clients. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 5 years as a teacher, working with children of various ages. This experience deepened my knowledge of child development stages and inspired me to assist families in improving their communication, intimacy, and relationships with their children. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, blended families, and military adjustments. I have also supported many individuals who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I tailor our sessions and treatment plans to meet your unique and specific needs. I understand that seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and taking the first steps towards change can be daunting.
