Getting to know Dr. Brielle Cardieri

I am a board-certified psychiatrist that understands that folks from all backgrounds experience challenges, and do so uniquely. My style is empathetic, warm, nonjudgmental, and unassuming, and the approach we will use together is tailored to fit your specific needs. I offer medication management or medication management combined with psychotherapy. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship stress, OCD, ADHD, life transitions, or other personal challenges, I’m here to support you in finding a path forward. If this sounds like a good fit for your personality and needs, I’m excited to meet you. I completed my medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, completed Adult Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Additionally, I have advanced therapy trainings in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic frameworks from NYPSI and the White Institute. My practice is telehealth and in-person. It’s a big step to seek help; reading this means you are taking that step, and you should be proud of that. Whether we work together, or not, I wish you all the best on your healing journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a psychiatrist and therapist, I always have two tools in my toolbox: medication and therapy. We will work together to decide if either (or both) would be helpful for you. Most of my patients see symptom improvement within the first month of our work together, and my goal is for us to have a lasting relationship to sustain your mental health and wellness.
