My name is Britney Shipman, and I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Master's in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University and am the founder of APNP.
I treat a variety of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. I specialize in addressing women's issues such as postpartum depression, creating a healthy work-life balance, fertility challenges, divorce, relationship concerns, and panic disorders.
My goal is to create holistic and comprehensive treatment plans that focus on achieving wellness and enhancing overall quality of life.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, it is my top priority to create a welcoming and safe environment for my clients. I focus on developing client-centered care plans. It is my goal to deliver high quality comprehensive care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
An initial evaluation consists of a comprehensive assessment covering various psycho-social factors, medical and psychiatric history, and recommendation for a treatment plan. Follow up visits consist of a focused assessment and ongoing reevaluation of dynamic treatment plan.
