About Brooke Ellinger
Working in women's health, I am aware that there are many changes a woman experiences throughout her lifetime, including adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond. These times can be very trying and emotional, and I believe a solid provider-patient relationship is key to providing the best possible care. I strive to treat each of my patients with compassion, concern, and understanding. Given the complexity of women's health, I see the importance of providing thorough education to each patient, which helps women and their families become active participants in the decision-making process.
I always knew I wanted to do something within the medical field. I earned my Bachelor's degree from George Mason University and went to nursing school there. During my clinical rotations, I fell in love with labor and delivery. After graduating, I took a job as a labor and delivery nurse at Holy Cross, where I spent the next five years of my career. The process of pregnancy and delivery is incredible, and I loved being part of this journey with women and their families. My experience in labor and delivery ultimately inspired me to pursue a career as a women's health nurse practitioner. I obtained my Master's in Women's Health Nursing from Drexel University. I love being an advocate for women and their changing needs throughout their lives, and I couldn't see myself doing anything else.

This was my first visit with this provider (Brooke) and at this office, and I was really impressed. She actually listened to what I had to say (which doesn’t always happen at appointments) and never made me feel rushed. She asked thoughtful questions, explained things clearly, and offered solutions that felt personalized. She even suggested proactive steps for my overall health, which I really appreciated. It was refreshing to see someone so thorough and caring. I left feeling heard, confident, and well taken care of. I highly recommend her and will definitely continue seeing her for my OBGYN care.

I went in to get my iud removed. Brooke took her time walking me through how the procedure would go (and possible complications). Everything went smoothly. She asked me if I needed new forms of birth control and I told her my husband and I would like to start trying for kids. She was extremely helpful by giving me suggestions on what to do in the meantime ie: take a prenatal vitamin, download an app to track ovulation, ovulation strips etc. Had a great experience and will definitely be going back for future needs.

Brooke Ellinger, NP, is really one of the nicest healthcare professionals I’ve ever met. She sat down and took the time to answer all my worries and concerns. It’s very rare to meet a professional who isn’t rushing you out the office during your meeting nowadays, so I’m very grateful to have seen Brooke. She is exactly the type of person you want to be taking care of you and your medical concerns! Not only that, but the office was so clean and beautiful with such minimal wait time and super friendly staff!! I was so happy and that’s not usually my reaction when leaving an office, especially ones where I’m discussing awkward, private, female problems hahah!
