About Dr. Brooke Larsen
Brooke grew up in Maryland but has lived most of her adult life in Salt Lake City, UT. Her interest in nursing came from a desire to utilize both science and healing. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2001.
Shortly after earning her degree, Brooke began working at the University of Utah’s Department of Dermatology. She worked as a Mohs nurse, assisting surgeons in removing skin cancers, and also gained experience in pediatric, cosmetic, and general dermatology.
In 2013, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the same institution. Brooke has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in dermatology in both Utah and Colorado. With over 18 years of experience in dermatology, her passion for the field continues to grow. She enjoys the variety it offers and the opportunity to work closely with patients.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her 21 nieces and nephews, traveling, and cheering for the Utah Utes football team.
