About Dr. Bryan Barry

Dr. Bryan W. Barry is a lifelong Connecticut resident. His early onset of compassion to help others is the catalyst that steered him into Chiropractic Medicine, which led him to receive his doctoral degree from the University of Bridgeport. In addition to studying Chiropractic, he also obtained a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut. He has also studied Acupuncture and received post-graduate training and certification in Orthopedic Acupuncture. He earned his Fellowship and Diplomate in Acupuncture through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Barry has served as the Medical Director of Sports Medicine for New Haven Athletics and the New Haven Board of Education. He served as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University and Gateway Community College in the areas of Sports Medicine, Nutrition, Anatomy & Physiology, and Human Biology. Since the beginning of his practice in 2002, Dr. Barry feels it remains community-based and he enjoys being active in the Greater Hamden Region where he resides. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the Commission on Disabilities, Human Rights and Opportunities, appointed by the Mayor and Legislative Council in 2004 until 2016. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Hamden Chamber of Commerce from 2006-2012 and was on the Advisory Board for Stone Academy. Due to his skill and compassion, Dr. Barry was inducted as a lifetime member among Cambridge Who's Who executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Dr. Barry is highly regarded as one of the top Chiropractic Physicians, not solely based on his professional achievements, but also due to his patients’ response to his warmth, enthusiasm, and community-based approach to integrative medicine.
