Getting to know Bryan Moeller

Bryan Moeller (he/him/his) is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. I am motivated to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and improve access to quality psychiatric care. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, he went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatry at CUNY Hunter College. With several years of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Bryan specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and addiction. He offers both in-person and secure telehealth appointments, providing flexible, confidential care tailored to each client’s lifestyle and needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and I partner closely with each client to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their goals, values, and cultural identity. My holistic approach integrates psychopharmacology, supportive therapy, and lifestyle interventions to help clients explore their challenges and work toward recovery in a safe, nonjudgmental space. Whether you’re just beginning your mental health journey or are looking for a fresh perspective, I’m here to support you. If you’re ready to take the next step in your mental well-being, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first appointment will be a 60-minute session, offered either in person or via secure video. Before we meet, you’ll complete the necessary intake forms, including a clinical intake form. This helps me understand what you’re looking to work on—whether that’s medication management, talk therapy, or a combination of both. During our consultation, we’ll review your history, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan. Together, we’ll determine a session schedule that fits your needs, which may be weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or every three months. Ongoing sessions can be 20, 40, or 60 minutes in length, depending on what works best for you.
