About Caitlan Talamas
Caitlan is a dedicated certified nurse-midwife with a robust educational background and extensive professional experience. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the UT Health Science Center San Antonio in 2015. Furthering her education, Caitlan earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery and Women's Health from Georgetown University in 2018. She has been board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board since 2018.
Caitlan's professional journey has been marked by her comprehensive experience in practicing full-scope midwifery care at a large, fast-paced hospital in south Texas. Her expertise spans both low- and high-risk pregnancy care, enabling her to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population. I had an excellent experience with Caitlin yesterday. She was incredibly kind, gentle, and attentive throughout the entire exam. From the moment she walked in, she made me feel comfortable and truly listened to my concerns.
Caitlin carefully examined me and was able to clearly explain the issue I came in for. What I really appreciated was that she didn’t just give me an answer, she provided immediate treatment and also discussed additional options, including ways to further evaluate my genetics if needed.
Her professionalism, knowledge, and empathy really stood out. She could see how concerned I was about my health issue, and she handled the situation with such care and compassion. I left the appointment feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.
I’m truly grateful for the care she provided and highly recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate healthcare professional in the OBG field.
