Getting to know Calleen Morris

Life and relationships can be complex! My specialty is couples therapy, and I have a passion for helping those who wish to "hang on" to what is working in their relationships while developing new skills to successfully navigate the challenges life can present. I am trained to utilize effective approaches and techniques to address issues such as communication, intimacy, conflict, blended families, grief, and loss. My clients feel respected as we work collaboratively toward personal and family goals, which can lead to greater satisfaction and enduring relationships. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's degree, both from Arizona State University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

*We do not accept insurance* I have presented on premarital preparation, couple's therapy, social media, parenting, grief & loss. I have additional training in Gottman Couple Therapy and EFT Couple Therapy Methods. As a past faculty associate member at Arizona State University I have instructed Psychology and Family & Human Development courses. I am an AZBBHE approved supervisor.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once you book an appointment, or contact the office. We will schedule a no-cost phone call to further discuss your needs, our services and process. I work collaboratively with clients to determine their goals for therapy. Frequency of sessions is also determined together. We offer online or in-office meetings. I utilize best practices, and empirically based therapy approaches.
