Getting to know Camellia Douglas
Camellia Douglas is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with several years of experience specializing in treating young adults, adults, and seniors. Her clinical background has afforded her the fulfilling opportunity to support the mental wellness of individuals from all backgrounds. Camellia Douglas also conducts and provides consultation for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS, a non-medication treatment option for depression- coming to our Charlotte office soon!
What should a new client know about working with you?
Camellia Douglas IS currently accepting NEW patients for in-office and telehealth visits.
Camellia's aim is to provide a safe space for all, first by actively listening, then by education and support to empower clients to collaborate and establish an individualized plan to promote mental and physical wellness. Camellia utilizes an integrative approach. Camellia also specializes in providing culturally competent care.
Camellia's style of practice is collaborative, by motivational interviewing and goal-setting with each client.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
You can expect to leave each session feeling heard and with an empowered mindset to help manage your challenges. Questions will be encouraged with an open discussion for concerns. Based upon the information gained from your session, an evidence-based treatment plan will be discussed.
Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a call from our office, followed by an email with a Zoom link for the virtual visit.
Please note that clients must be located in North Carolina at the time of the telehealth visit.
