About Dr. Camille Kim
Dr. Camille Kim is a board certified physician who provides both conservative and surgical treatments for all foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Kim grew up on Long Island and acquired her bachelor's degree from Emory University. She then spent two years working as a research associate at the Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU, where she worked with the Department of Defense to help soldiers with severe craniofacial and extremity injuries using innovative tissue engineering. Having discovered her new passion, she then earned her doctorate degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Kim completed a rigorous 3-year surgical residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where she specialized in reconstructive, trauma, and limb salvage procedures. During her residency, she was mentioned in The New York Times for fighting COVID on the front line alongside her colleagues.
Dr. Kim firmly believes that art and science are interdependent. She hopes to work with amputees one day, and design better, affordable, and functional prosthetics. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kim enjoys spending her free time bouldering, skiing, and practicing ballet.
