About Camylle Appiahene
Camylle is a board-certified, doctoral-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has 19 years of experience in the medical field, beginning in 2006 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 2008. She later completed both her Master of Science in Primary Health Nursing (2013) and Doctorate in Family Health Nursing (2024) from the University of Saint Joseph.
As a registered nurse, Camylle worked in skilled nursing facilities and on medical/surgical units across various hospitals. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has 11 years of experience diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions in areas including gastroenterology, occupational health, pediatrics, adult health, and geriatrics. She brings superb clinical skills, professionalism, and compassion to every patient interaction, and takes pride in helping patients meet their individualized healthcare needs to achieve optimal wellness.
In addition to being an outstanding clinician, Camylle is also an educator and mentor to nursing students. She has served as a clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut and currently holds a faculty position as a Professor at Chamberlain University College of Nursing.
