Candice Slizewski, RN, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, QIDP, QMHP
Candice Slizewski is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Michigan who has been practicing since 2023. She has been a registered nurse for more than 9 years and has worked in a trauma ER as well as in mental health case management and intensive mental health case management. Candice graduated with her MSN in February 2023 from Walden State University and become a board certified PMHNP in April of 2023.
Candice uses her knowledge, training, and experience to relate to clients on a more personal level. She can treat with medication, but also has a therapy-based approach and knows when to refer a client to therapy when needed or in addition to medication treatment. Candice works well with the entire care team to treat the whole person and in an holistic manner in order to help the client succeed in his or her goals.
Outside of work, Candice adores her family and two kitties. She loves music, singing karaoke, spending time with friends, traveling, and writing. She has a passion to help others to reach their best potential and see the best in themselves.
