What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is child- and family-centered, starting by getting to know you or your child. I seek to understand issues from many perspectives: biological, psychological, behavioral, functional, and systemic. I work with patients and families to create an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan. I prescribe medication only as a last resort, and only using the smallest dose possible. With children, if medication is necessary, I expect that its use will be time-limited, with a clear justification and measurable goals.
