About Dr. Carlos Marrero Prats
Dr. Marrero is delighted to join Timothy D Groth MD PC, bringing his extensive multi-dimensional training background. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, completed his Medical Degree at UNIBE, followed by a Residency in General Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, and a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr. Marrero plans to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to Pain Medicine. He is mindful of the individual needs of his patients, understanding that everyone experiences pain differently, and therefore will bring an individualized multidisciplinary approach to treating pain.

Dr. Marrera is awesome. I have a lot of doctors now since being diagnosed with Lyme disease and Lyme arthritis, and he is definitely the best doctor out of all of them. The first time in months I felt the doctor actually listened and cared. I’ve learned that’s hard to come by the last few months. Highly recommend him.
