About Dr. Carly Barth

She was kind. There was an employee who helped me get situated when I walked in, and when I left, he stopped the traffic so I could leave. 10/10 experience, I felt like I've been going there forever.

When I arrived at the Doctors office, I was met in the parking lot by a representative of the practice. They had my name and appointment time. Then I was personally escorted to the reception desk and was introduced. I completed my paperwork and was called to go to the examination room. Again, the the staff was unbelievably friendly and courteous. After my consultation with Dr. C. Barth, I was taken to the appointment desk to schedule my procedures.
When I was leaving the building, the parking lot representative for the practice directed traffic so that I could make the turn out of the parking lot with incident.
This was an absolute delight to be treated with such care and compassion, starting at the parking lot.

The staff at LIGS is very welcoming and friendly, beginning when you park your car. Appointments are easy to make via zocdoc, and there has barely been a wait time the past two times I went. Dr. C. Barth is very patient, caring, and thorough, and took her time getting to know me personally and talking about my options. I’m glad I made the switch to this office!

She is a great doctor. I was so comfortable talking about very personal issues, she took a very detailed history and educated me a ton. Called me by my first name a few times, which I think is really nice and even showed some sympathy for my family medical history which isn't great. I really like her and will 100% go back to this doctor if needed.

Practitioner was great.. the entire experience outside of the visit was odd. Given it was a gastro office, it somehow smelt like stale unflushed fecal matter in the exam room. The security guard was nice but strongly insisted he tie my shoe that was untied and went on to tell me that’s how he met his wife.. cute story I guess. The worst part of the whole thing was that the woman who did my blood work literally raked my veins. This must’ve been her first or second time doing blood work, and it was done in the same exam room that smelled like fecal matter. I’m totally bruised up and this has never happened before. no confidence in what she was doing, and from my experience of getting blood work countless times, I’ve never had blood work done on the same examination bed usually in a separate area. Waiting on my bloodwork to come back but I’m not returning. People are literally looking at my arm and thinking I’m an addict or I got beat up,This experience was bizarre and maybe not for me.

Dr Carly Barth is the best gastroenterologist! She takes her time and listens to what you have to say. She also asks many questions because she really cares. I have been seeing her for several years and my daughter does as well. I would definitely recommend her and the office. My husband sees Dr Rush in the practice.
