Carli Decker offers therapy covered by Medicaid—Superior Healthplan, Superior HealthPlan (Managed Medicaid), and United Healthcare/Optum—Medicaid in Texas.
I provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, insomnia, bipolar disorders, and psychotic disorders. With over 10 years of experience in psychiatric nursing and a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University, I take a holistic approach to care. I work with you to create a personalized care plan tailored to your unique needs.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Initial sessions are typically around 60 minutes in length. We will discuss your history as well as how things are for you currently. Medications are prescribed at the first visit when appropriate. Follow-up appointments are typically every 3-4 weeks until stabilized on medications. Once you're feeling better and we've found the medications that work well for you we can follow up every 2-3 months. Some people already have an established treatment regimen and schedule with me for refills only. In that case, we will meet every 3 months for refills.

She was super sweet, she only does medication management and I was looking for a therapist, but she stayed on the telehealth visit and gave me some recommendations. If I need max management in the future I will be using her. She seemed like a real human, and not trying to rush through any questions or concerns. I’ve had other experiences with other doctors where they don’t listen to the patient and the interaction is very robotic and I didn’t get that from her.
