Getting to know Carly Mollicone

Hi, I’m Carly — a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in California and Washington. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma. With experience across inpatient and outpatient settings, I take a compassionate, collaborative approach to care that honors your unique story and goals. My practice blends evidence-based treatment with a whole-person perspective. Let’s work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and like yourself again.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. I believe that mental wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all — it requires understanding the whole person, not just treating symptoms. That means we’ll explore not only your mental health history and current concerns, but also your lifestyle, values, goals, and what feeling better truly looks like for you. Our work together is a partnership. I’ll bring my clinical expertise, and you’ll bring your lived experience — we’ll build a care plan that feels right for you. I integrate evidence-based medication management with talk therapy and holistic strategies when appropriate, always honoring your preferences and comfort level. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or mood-related challenges, you can expect a nonjudgmental space where you’re heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together typically begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation during your first appointment. We’ll talk about your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and life circumstances to build a full picture of what’s going on. This is a collaborative and conversational process — there’s no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin. After the initial visit, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive talk therapy, and/or holistic strategies based on your needs and preferences. Follow-up sessions are typically 30-60 minutes and focus on monitoring your progress, adjusting your treatment plan if needed, and offering space to talk through whatever’s coming up for you. I believe in working with you — not just prescribing and checking in. Each session is an opportunity to explore what’s working, what’s not, and how we can move you toward your version of wellness.
