Getting to know Carly Smith

Carly Smith, PMHNP, earned her bachelor's degree from Northwestern State University in 2015 and her master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the same university in May 2021. She grew up in Shreveport, LA, and moved to Tulsa in August 2021 for a residency at the Tulsa/Muskogee VA. Although Carly worked in the ICU for six years, mental health has always been her passion. Her goal is to help reduce the stigma of mental health with her patients and within our community. Carly believes that mental and spiritual health are just as important as physical health. She feels that mental health is often neglected, and she wants to change that mindset—literally. Carly loves football and is a huge LSU and Saints fan. She enjoys board games, baking and cooking, spending time with her family, and playing with her two cats, Burreaux and Goose. Carly Smith, PMHNP, is seeing patients in person at Bixby, Pryor, and Sapulpa. She is also seeing patients via telemedicine.
