Dr. Carolina Barbeito is a bi-lingual clinical psychologist specializing in adult, adolescent, child, and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Boca Raton, FL. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Barbeito is dedicated to improving the life of each patient she serves and ensures every individual is encouraged to be heard, respected, and empowered to live authentically. She strives to create and maintain an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative environment that is safe and embracing of all cultures and backgrounds.
Before establishing her private practice, Dr. Barbeito gained experience working with adults, adolescents, and children facing depression, anxiety, and trauma-related psychopathology at various community mental health centers. She completed a residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where much of her work focused on family therapy and strengthening relationships between adolescent patients and their parents and siblings. Additionally, Dr. Barbeito completed a fellowship at Jackson Health System, working with adults living with chronic medical conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes, cardiac conditions, cancer, organ transplant, headaches/migraines, and traumatic brain injuries.

My experience with Dr. Barbeito was excellent from the very beginning. Finding a doctor who truly engages with their patients and is goal orientated was very important to me and that is exactly the care I received. I have had major growth both personally and professionally after meeting Dr. Barbeito and I know I couldn’t have done it without her. I highly recommend for anyone who is looking to do the same.
