Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
CA
I am a Brown University-trained psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents and adults. I have had the privilege of supporting patients through their mental health journeys, helping them navigate anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, and the effects of trauma. My approach integrates evidence based psychotherapeutic methods in a safe space, free of judgement, where we can explore the unique capacities, strengths and vulnerabilities of who you are and draw on them as a resource. I will walk alongside you to guide you towards the life you envision and deserve through warmth and care. When clinically indicated, I may recommend the use of medication, always accompanied by a thorough and thoughtful discussion addressing all questions and concerns.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work closely with parents and families, therapists, primary care providers, and school professionals to create a truly comprehensive approach to care. We are all shaped by—and connected to—the social systems around us, and supporting your well-being means attending to both the individual and the environment in which you live, learn, and grow.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with an initial evaluation where we conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. We review your full histories (medical, family, developmental, educational, psychiatric and psychosocial) and discuss reason(s) for seeking treatment, review your goals, diagnosis, and whether medication, therapy, or a combination of both is the most appropriate approach for your needs. If medication could be of significant benefit, we will discuss in depth the medications indicated and answer any questions you may have. I will work with your PCP or pediatrician, if needed. Frequency and duration of follow up appointments will be determined by clinical need and can vary from 30-60min from weekly to every three months, ensuring personalized care.
