“Carolina is so kind and compassionate, always making sure I felt heard and understood. She showed me so many great ways to work through my feelings, communicate better in my relationships, and prioritize self care. I have SIBO (a chronic gut disorder) and she was very insightful as to how I could help both my mental health and my gut at the same time! I am doing so much better all around. Thank you, Carolina!”

Getting to know Carolina Kaack

I am a dual-board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience in the healthcare field. I earned my Master’s in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University, which, along with my clinical training, has prepared me to work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. I feel confident addressing conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and parenting challenges. I am bilingual in both English and Spanish. My goal is to help my clients become the best version of themselves by combining a holistic approach with modern medicine. I strive to understand your concerns and identify meaningful solutions that promote mental health wellness. Together, we will design a comprehensive treatment plan that allows you to improve your quality of life. These plans may include the use of medication, and we will discuss in detail the benefits and risks so you feel empowered to make a well-informed decision.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We will meet for an initial comprehensive evaluation that takes into account not only the physical and medical perspective, but also your emotional, social, spiritual and environmental dimensions. We will also establish goals for treatment. Then, we will have ongoing visits (we will agree on the frequency) and we will discuss your medications, side effects, and efficacy. We will periodically assess your progress and determine if we need to make changes to your original plan.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
