What should a new client know about working with you?

Hello and welcome. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your courage to make the first steps in selecting a therapist. The thought of sharing intimate thoughts, struggles, and experiences can be overwhelming and frightening. I hope to help you feel comfortable that you have come to the right place to express yourself and work on feeling better. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) from California. I have over 10 years experience in providing services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationships issues, trauma, and other challenges. I integrate various evidence base models including CBT, TF-CBT, Solution Focused concepts, Strength Based concepts, Seeking Safety, and Managing Adaptive Practices/concepts to be able to have a variety of interventions to meet my client's needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I hope to find out about your needs, your story, and your goals during our first session. In addition, I hope you gain optimism that working together to accomplish your treatment goals is tangible. You know you best and can provide the best snapshot of your life. I want you to feel comfortable as we build the therapeutic relationship and connection to work on what is important to you in each session to meet your goals.
