About Caroline Hernandez

First Visit Evaluation Fee: $300 30 minute therapy Session: $75 Schedule: Monday - Thursday in the office; Fridays are remote Mrs. Caroline Hernandez is a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with approximately 11 years of clinical experience. She holds a B.A. in Communication Science Disorders from Queens College and a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Over the course of her career, Mrs. Hernandez has developed a specialized expertise in working with articulation and motor speech disorders including apraxia of speech, stuttering, and voice and resonance disorders. She is trained in PROMPT Level 1 and has pursued advanced training in Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), enhancing her ability to provide individualized and effective therapy. Additionally, Mrs. Hernandez has extensive experience working with language disorders, particularly with autistic clients, and uses neuroaffirmative strategies in her therapy to create an inclusive, respectful, and empowering environment for all clients. Her approach blends compassion, evidence-based practices, and cutting-edge therapeutic techniques to foster communication growth and confidence in those she serves. In addition to her clinical work, Mrs. Hernandez has taken on a significant role in supervising graduate student clinicians, helping shape the next generation of speech-language pathologists.
