I specialize in treatment-resistant DEPRESSION and am board certified by ANCC for Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I hold a Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and bring over 25 years of experience to my practice. Our team at Depression Doctors utilizes evidence-based and FDA-approved treatments supported by solid research in treating depression.
In addition to medication management, our practice offers traditional talk therapy and cutting-edge treatments for difficult-to-treat major depression: TMS Therapy and Spravato (Esketamine) treatment. We have observed significant improvements in individuals with severe and chronic depression using these therapies.
TMS is safe, medication-free, and covered by insurance. It stimulates a small area on the front part of the brain (left DL-PFC) shown to be less active in brain imaging studies. Esketamine, branded as Spravato and also covered by insurance, is a nasal spray that works on different neurotransmitter systems than most other antidepressants.
With these science-based treatments, you can finally get relief from depression and uncover your full potential! We offer all cutting-edge TMS treatment options, including the fast 3.5-minute theta-burst, focal, or deep TMS. We can also assess if you qualify for Spravato treatment.
