Hello, I'm Carolyn. Are you finding it hard to cope with changes in your life? Have you been putting your mental health on the back burner? I founded my practice, UpLift Mental Wellness, because I am extremely passionate about improving mental wellness to achieve the best possible quality of life. I often see the correlation between neglecting mental health and the negative effects on one’s self-care and relationships with others. I have a diverse background in psychiatric mental health to treat acute and chronic concerns, with a specialty in women’s mental health. As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I value the importance of overall mind and body well-being. I earned my Master’s in Family Nursing from Simmons University and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Liberty University. I provide individualized treatment plans and one-on-one support for open and honest healthcare. I will empower you to decide on your treatment options while providing an evidence-based approach. You will never feel unheard or as if there is only one option for you. We will work together as a team to find the path to your optimal mental wellness.

My ultimate goal is to build strong, trusting, long lasting rapport with my clients. You will always feel welcomed, validated, and safe. I strive to educate as we work through our plans so you will leave with the right set of tools to be successful in achieving your wellness goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I use evidence based guidelines to find the right treatment options. I offer alternative and holistic options as well as medication management.

With all the poor healthcare being offered, it’s truly a blessing to find someone with patience, compassion, and just a normalcy understanding to life. Carolyn was just a fresh of breath air, starting from confirming the booking, to not feeling rushed during our appointment. She shares her personal experiences to show she’s just like us. With being able to be seen within a couple days and never waiting hours at an office it’s how a practice should operate. Just thankful I found someone that truly can help instead of seeing me as money, great experience, great provider!!
