“It was my first time to see Carolyn and in my personal opinion I think she has a light spirit. Her smile was genuine and overall spoke with sincerity. She was honest to me about my shoulder pain condition. I admire her overall bedside manners because they were normal, she wasn’t trying hard to impress me with words I won’t understand, she wasn’t too talkative to the point of boring me. She was able to talk to me in such a manner that I could actually listen, and normally I don’t like visiting any healthcare facility because they make me nervous, most of healthcare staff have heavy spirit but not Carolyn. If it’s just Carolyn I have to talk to about any of my healthcare concerns I wouldn’t mind if she will be the only one I have to communicate with because….well, she is not scary, she doesn’t stress me out. And I’m grateful for her kind behavior because it’s very rare these days to see someone who behaves and acts like her.”

Verified patient
Carolyn was great, very attentive and did a full and thorough exam on my knee that has been giving me pain for almost 10 years. It was nice being heard and not written off because I’m younger. She advocated for me to get imaging done and I’m looking forward to continuing working with her

Everyone at Northwell were fantastic, I appreciate them seeing me and explaining everything in great detail pertaining to my injury.

Great Service and amazing health professionals!
Verified patient
Everything was outstanding!!! Amazing! Making the appt was simple and quick, reception was an ease and everything after that, care, XRay and procedure was exceptional. First time here and will be coming back for sure!
Verified patient
Didn’t conduct additional testing to fully eliminate any variables of underlying issues causing symptoms. Didn’t even describe or explain the diagnosis/ what causes it or provide aftercare instructions
Carolyn is very competent and sure of herself. Good listener and communicator. Provides great service…I’m very happy to have found her here. Definitely my go-to for ortho needs, of which I’ve had plenty lately.
Verified patient
There’s someone who sees you first and asks you a lot of questions. Then they take x-rays. After that, the PA sees you. She was very knowledgeable.
Lacked compassion for the pain I was in, said she couldn't help me based on a diagnosis that did not have a result to back it up, (test result all came back against her diagnosis) and never followed up with the physician as promised.
Verified patient
I’m very pleased with the service I received. Carolyn was easygoing, attentive, a good listener and diagnostician. I presented with a swollen and painful left knee and she gave me two plausible explanations. After the aspirate is tested, we’ll know for sure….possibly latent Lyme disease infection. So happy I found her and will entrust follow up care to her.

Carolyn is an excellent Orthopedic PA. She clearly communicates complex medical issues in a way that is easy to understand. She displays a very caring manner. I will definitely come back if needed.

Overall great experience!
Verified patient
I like the services however it would have been better if the Ortho surgeon whom I was trying to see was there so I don’t have to come back or speak with him through phone to discuss further my condition and the treatment plan.
