“I do feel she could’ve been better at listening. I clearly told her ear infection symptoms I was having (sensation of fluid in ears, fever, itchy ears, pain, generally feeling unwell, sore throat etc) and she instead started telling me to take some type of Flonase to clear mucus out of my nose and throat. I had to assert myself and ask to be prescribed amoxicillin because with my symptoms I need an antibiotic Flonase will not get rid of a bacterial infection. I also told her I had the symptoms for a week and she told me to wait an additional 2-3 days to see if the symptoms go away with the mucus medicine she prescribed which is ridiculous. I am not going to wait another 3 days to suffer. She was nice but I did not feel heard and if I would have never brought up the amoxicillin she would not have prescribed it to me which is strange because all of my symptoms point to an ear infection. I will go to my regular doctor next time.”
