Dr. Carolyne was a great listener I felt like I was really understood and I got the right medication that I needed. She is very quick and very intuitive when it comes to looking at the medical paperwork for a diagnosis and previous diagnosis’s as well. She explained to me that a previous condition I had wasn’t exactly accurate and I felt like I really understood what she was talking about. She was very patient and understanding I highly recommend her.

She's easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor. I probably sound insane a mile a minute and she was just patient and helpful. Suggested medication, but didn't push. I have a follow up in two weeks. Psychiatry is an important component to anyone dealing with actual mental health issues, not just being "sad" once in a while. Having a medical doctor/nurse alongside a talk therapist if you want is totally necessary in understanding what issues you may have, and be properly diagnosed.

I’ve only had one session so far, but it was the smoothest easiest and most efficient session I’ve had in years. Very receptive and listens to my requests. Very professional and kind, but also straightforward. Make sure to fill out the proper paperwork sent to your email before hand!

Carolyne is a wonderful provider! From my very first appointment with her, she has made me feel comfortable and at ease. She is a great listener (and funny!), empathetic, and makes me feel heard with every visit. She has always been very responsive and has gotten back to me quickly when I have reached out with any questions or concerns. I feel so lucky that I found Dr. Mburu-Gerena! She exudes warmth, even over video chat, and is a great listener and altogether kind person. In my consultation she was professional, focused, and seemed genuinely invested in my wellbeing.
