I was able to obtain my refills with this appointment but it didn't end there. Carrie went above and beyond to learn about my history and seemed to genuinely care about my overall health. It was better than office experiences that I have had where I felt rushed, unheard, and treated more like an appointment on the schedule just to get done with. “I had nowhere to go when I ran out of my bipolar medication and this doctor heard me when I spoke, she recognized the urgency I had right away and treated me with compassion. I would 100% recommend this doctor to anyone that needs a general care provider. The role of a primary care provider is to help a person achieve their best health, both physically and mentally. We are responsible for listening, educating, and advocating for our patients, and being active members in their care. Our role is to work together with patients to create the best treatment plan-as partners in their care, not as the "boss" of their care. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy reading, cooking, and watching reruns of *The Office*. I like to exercise and play piano to relieve stress, and I love spending time with my family.
