Carrie Ryerson, RN

Family Nurse Practitioner
200 E Joppa Rd, Ste 300, Towson, MD
Wife to my husband of ten years, mom to two adventurous young boys (my favorite title), and board-certified nurse practitioner, I have always been passionate about helping others live healthier lives. After 22 years in healthcare, I realized that many people in my community needed more than treatment—they needed education, guidance, and a better understanding of how to care for themselves both physically and mentally. That realization inspired me to return to school and earn my master's degree, allowing me to expand the way I serve my patients. I believe that health doesn't have to be complicated. Often, less is more. By focusing on simple, sustainable lifestyle changes, I strive to empower people to take charge of their well-being with confidence. I am excited to begin this new chapter in functional medicine, where the focus is on identifying and addressing the root cause of illness rather than simply managing symptoms. My goal is to partner with patients on their journey to lasting health through personalized, evidence-informed care. I am currently pursuing my certification to practice Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), and I am certified through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP). When I'm not caring for patients, you'll most likely find me making memories with my family, relaxing at the beach, hiking, camping, getting lost in a good book, or spending time with our lovable English bulldog, Rigatoni.
