What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a nurse practitioner began with my work as a psychiatric technician. It was during that time I fell in love with supporting people through their mental health journeys, and I witnessed firsthand the power of a strong, collaborative team. I learned early on that compassion, empathy, and a deeper understanding of each person's unique mental health needs can make a meaningful difference in their care. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work across a variety of settings and patient populations, including addiction medicine, developmental disabilities, inpatient mental health, and rehabilitation nursing. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, individualized care. I bring a broad clinical perspective, genuine empathy, and a commitment to making sure every patient feels heard, respected, and valued at every visit.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based, with an emphasis on understanding each person as an individual. This approach is grounded in my experience in inpatient mental health, which has given me the comfort and experience to treat a wide range of mental health concerns. I believe effective care begins with feeling heard, respected, and supported, and I'm passionate about helping you find the right balance of treatment and practical strategies so you feel more like yourself and move toward the life you want. In our work together, I draw on evidence-based psychiatric care, medication management, and therapeutic approaches to help you better understand your mental health, manage symptoms, and move toward greater stability and well-being. Your care is always individualized and tailored to your unique needs, circumstances, and goals.
