What should a new client know about working with you?

I treat every patient as a whole person — not a diagnosis. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with genuine compassion, because recovery requires both. Patients can expect a thorough evaluation, clear communication about treatment options (including medication-assisted treatment when appropriate), and a plan tailored to their individual needs and goals. I work with adults and adolescents struggling with mental health, substance use, co-occurring psychiatric conditions, and the families affected by them. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or have been through treatment before, I'll meet you where you are without judgment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first visit is a comprehensive evaluation — we'll review your medical and psychiatric history, current mental health struggle or substance use, prior treatment, family and social context, and your goals. From there, I'll recommend a treatment plan that may include medication management (such as Suboxone, naltrexone, or other MAT options), psychiatric medication for co-occurring conditions, referral to therapy or higher levels of care if needed, and coordination with your existing providers. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring response, adjusting the plan, and supporting long-term recovery. I believe in transparent, collaborative care — you'll always understand what we're doing and why.
