What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered. I believe each person’s mental health journey is unique, so I take time to listen carefully and understand your story before exploring treatment options together. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with a whole-person perspective—focusing not just on symptoms, but on your overall well-being and quality of life. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care. Whether through medication management, lifestyle support, or connecting you with additional resources, I work alongside you to find a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first visit, I take time to get to know you and your story. We’ll review your mental health history, current concerns, medical background, and any past treatments you may have tried. This helps me develop a clear understanding of your needs and goals. From there, we’ll work together to create a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle recommendations. Follow-up appointments are focused on monitoring your progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and providing a safe space to discuss challenges or concerns. While I do not provide formal long-term psychotherapy, I incorporate supportive therapy techniques into our visits to help you feel heard and understood. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in your care every step of the way.
