What is your typical process for working with clients?
At Fluorescence Health & Wellness, my typical process begins with a comprehensive 60–90 minute psychiatric evaluation where we review your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals to ensure diagnostic clarity and a personalized plan. I screen for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders, and when appropriate, we may discuss formal ADHD testing. Treatment is collaborative and may include medication management (if clinically indicated), supportive therapy, brief evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused strategies, psychoeducation, and integrative wellness recommendations. While I am not a full-time weekly psychotherapy provider, I incorporate therapeutic techniques into our sessions and coordinate care with therapists when more intensive therapy is needed. Follow-up visits typically last 20–30 minutes and focus on monitoring symptoms, assessing medication effectiveness, addressing side effects, strengthening coping strategies, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed. My approach is structured, compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic, with an emphasis on partnership, transparency, and empowering you to make informed decisions about your mental health care.
