If you're looking for a new doctor, Dr. Chokuba-Azum is the one! I'm weary of doctors from having bad experiences with how they disregard a lot of your concerns. I didn't feel like that at all here. She made me feel so comfortable and not rushed. She is an amazing doctor and I would recommend her 1000%.

oh my. I went in nervous, i’ll be honest. Being plus size, sometimes doctors can only see one thing and not listen. But she was soooo attentive , so sweet, & warm. She made me feel very comfortable as well as seen and heard. She understood that I have already been doing a lot of the work on my own, and that the medication i am being prescribed isn’t a life sentence but a way for me to manage and heal in order to no longer need it in the future. I’m excited for this journey, especially with a doctor as good as she was to me.

How refreshing to find a doctor who is patient-orientated first. Dr. Chobuka-Azum took the time to listen and interact with me as the patient conducting a very thorough review. As a new patient, I have experienced previous doctors who have rushed this process as an afterthought.
I was made to feel very comfortable, not rushed or judged and valued. This is my first visit and I hope the service will remain as excellent as it was today.

First doctor that actually treats you with empathy and an overall good/ happy attitude. Looks out for you when sending bloodwork, makes sure she isn’t going to send something too expensive. She was able to resolve my concerns regarding a thyroid issue imaging without referring me to a specialist that has denied the imaging multiple times. The nurse was also really good, they actually want you to be healthy

Catherine is great, thorough and attentive.
Only flaw is with office itself, wish they had more accommodations regarding insurance and pay options. When dealing with patients that’s how should be treated not as a financial number. Care should not be denied due to financial status…a payment option should be offered.

Wait time - there wasn’t any!
Admin staff - very friendly!
Nurse Rose - very friendly, patient and kind. She asked some pertinent questions in regards to my visit to help prep for Dr. C. Questions I didn’t even think to ask myself!

I had a wonderful experience and walked away feeling heard, strongly confident in the next steps with my health and overall the Doctor is very intelligent! She not only discussed with me my health concerns but provided me the best understanding and knowledge behind finding the solution!
I also had blood work done and she followed up immediately on the results when they came in the next day to review!
