I aim to inspire and support individuals in achieving their unique wellness goals. My commitment to to the well-being of every client is evident in my approach to care, which is characterized by empathy, understanding, and a culture focused on safety, excellence and a deep commitment to improving mental health outcomes while optimizing recovery for each and every individual.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

New patients must undergo a psychiatric evaluation and, in most cases, basic labs will be required as part of the comprehensive evaluation. If new to the practice: Blysss Behavioral Health staff will contact the patient via phone at the number provided to complete demographic information, such as legal name, date of birth, email address, phone number etc. Blysss staff will request you email to our HIPPA-compliant email a copy of the front and back of your insurance card and your valid state ID. Blysss staff will send you an invite to your phone number or email provided to register for our secure patient patient portal. Next, Blysss will send you our practice intake forms- which must be completed before your appointment can be scheduled All new patients must complete and return intake forms before an appointment can be scheduled. Note: All new patients are required to submit a valid unexpired photo ID, i.e. Illinois driver's license or valid state of Illinois identification. Once the forms, license, and valid credit card have been submitted and confirmed- Blysss will schedule your appointment. The process usually can be completed in 1 or 2 days- depending on how quickly you return the requested documents. Note: No prescriptions will be filled for new patients before the psych evaluation. Existing patients must have a valid unexpired license, valid unexpired state of Illinois ID, and valid credit card on file. A psychiatric evaluation usually takes 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Psych eval includes: Chief Complaint or the reason you are seeking care. History of Present Illness: details of when your current episode of illness started- in your own words. Psychiatric History including past psychiatric illness, hospitalizations, outpatient treatment, medication, therapy, etc. Social History including substance use i.e. alcohol, legal/illicit drugs, rehab stays, overdoses, etc. Family History including history of family psychiatric Illnesses.
