Cecilia Yeboah is a master's prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 25 years of experience in nursing. She has advanced through the ranks from CNA to RN and RN-BSN, developing a deep passion for mental health and expanding her scope of practice accordingly.
Her extensive experience spans multiple continents, including England, the USA, and Africa. Over the years, she has practiced in various specialties, gaining rich expertise in providing empathic, compassionate, and culturally competent care to the diverse populations she serves.
Cecilia earned her Bachelor of Science in Care of the Older Person from the University of the West of England, Bristol, in 2008. She completed her RN-BSN at Grand Canyon University, Arizona, and earned her Master's in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Maryville University, St. Louis, Missouri.
Her philosophy centers on the belief that everyone desires to be seen, heard, and valued-this is the essence of human connection. Guided by this, her practice is patient-centered, focusing on individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. These plans may include medication, therapy, and the use of genetic testing to inform medication recommendations. I am a board - certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with 25+ years of experience in diverse health care roles and settings. I have extensive experience working with people from diverse backgrounds after my licensure/practice in England, Africa, and the USA. Practicing in different specialties including Medical, Surgical, Geriatric and acute psychiatric services over these years left nothing but rich expertise in providing empathetic, compassionate, and compressive care to the people I serve with cultural competency. I utilize critical thinking skills in providing individualized centered care to diverse age groups, with different illnesses in acute and community settings. My philosophy of practice is that everyone desires to be given a chance, seen heard and valued - it is the epitome of human connection. With this in mind, the style of my practice is patient- centered. I am currently accepting new clients, from teen to 65+ years. In my care you are in great hands. I look forward to meeting with you.
