Getting to know Cee I
Hello!
I am a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and I have been working with adults, children, and folks in recovery for almost 17 years. My experience spans a variety of settings, including hospitals, ERs, outpatient clinics, and long-term rehab centers.
I like to utilize a "less is more" approach, recommending supplements and dietary interventions instead of polypharmacy (multiple psych meds). I am very aware of side effects, patient comfort, and overall holistic well-being and function. I focus on the long-term picture, fine-tuning as few medications as possible for the greatest efficacy with the least impact on metabolic functioning and minimal alteration of baseline personality and vitality.
I love working with teens, patients in recovery who are working the steps and trying to avoid dependency on prescription meds, and anyone seeking alternatives to controlled substances and polypharmacy. I have been studying holistic medicine for almost 20 years and enjoy sharing my knowledge base!
Feel free to chat with me, have me review your current psychiatric meds, make recommendations, and hear another perspective—no commitments to any particular treatment plan, just a second opinion. I’m always happy to review and share knowledge. You can return to your regular prescriber, find a new one, visit with me again, or at least leave with a new perspective.
That’s why I became a nurse practitioner: I love to educate, share knowledge, and ultimately empower my patients to make their own decisions.
What should a new client know about working with you?
The less is more approach, supplementing psychotropic medications w/ dietary and alternative medicine recommendations to achieve the greatest holistic outcome with the least amount of medication side effects.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
