During her residency, she trained in specialized clinics treating psychosis, neurocognitive disorders, mood disorders, and perinatal mental health disorders. She cultivated an interest in working with young adults at the University of Southern California’s student mental health clinic, where she helped students through difficult life transitions. She has experience treating a broad range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, autism, and addiction. She draws on techniques from trauma-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure response prevention therapy (for OCD), and psychodynamic psychotherapy when treating her patients. In her free time, Dr. Pentagulio enjoys traveling, being in nature, and spending time with her family, friends, and black lab.
