At Open Mind Psychiatry, we believe in an integrative approach to HEALING that addresses your unique struggles with dignity and understanding. Dr. Egemasi is a Doctorate-prepared provider with dual Board-Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Global, and her Master’s in Family Nursing from Walden University. With over 10 years of experience providing quality care, she is passionate about helping people reduce their stressors through holistic, integrative, and individualized care.
Dr. Egemasi enjoys communicating openly with clients ages 6 and up, working collaboratively to achieve stability and optimal outcomes. She specializes in treating ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Bipolar, and other mood disorders. Our goal at Open Mind Psychiatry is to effectively diagnose and treat you using the least amount of medication possible, combining therapy with integrative and holistic approaches tailored to your specific needs. We treat patients of all ages using a holistic, integrated, and comprehensive approach. By working with clients individually, we can develop personalized treatment plans to meet their mental health goals. ONLY ACCEPTING MEDICATION AND HOLISTIC CARE MANAGEMENT PATIENTS. NO TALK THERAPY.

Our goal is to effectively diagnose and treat clients with the least amount of medication possible as we lead them on their path to wellness. Set up and appointment and was confirmed by the office and was emailed that I’d be contacted prior to the appointment to get into the video appointment. Came time for the appointment and haven’t heard anything. I call the office twice with no answer. Second time this has happened on zodoc.

Most my issues resulted from using Zoc Doc. Which caused significant scheduling issues which resulted in me wasting my time at the wrong scheduled events and incorrect syncing between the emails and zoc doc and the provider. As for the provider, she seems polite, I unfortunately am on a timeline where I will be out of service for the next 5 weeks and was hoping to get a prescription refill which I have had done with different providers. This doctor I respect for requiring significantly more testing than any other provider. However she was not willing to accommodate my needs at all. However due to these requirements which I have never been asked or notified of before I was not able to get the prescription refill in a timeline that even closely reflected reality. Serious doctor would recommend to a friend, just would advise them to plan for several weeks before anything actually happens. IE prescription testing etc, this all takes time and insurance.
