I had answers and direction - neither I got from the previous Dr I saw. She is detailed in her explanations and really cares about helping her patients.
It’s a small simply decorated office with a nice population of plants but don’t let its initial simplicity fool you- you will get the best quality of care from Dr Adam’s.
Her staff is also very friendly and there is minimal to no wait every time I’ve gone.

About Dr. Cerise Adams
Dr. Cerise Adams was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As a first-generation American, one of the most important attributes her parents instilled in her was hard work and perseverance. Dr. Adams attended Clara Barton High School for Health Professions in Brooklyn to begin her educational path toward a career in medicine. She gained honors and recognition in Biology and Chemistry.
Following high school, Dr. Adams matriculated into Fordham University, earning a BA in Natural Sciences with a concentration in pre-medicine. She shadowed many types of physicians during her summer breaks; however, she was most attracted to the field of podiatry. What she loved about podiatry was the diversity it included-from surgery, sports medicine, and wound care to limb salvage and complex pediatric deformities.
Dr. Adams graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. She later went to St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx for residency, a level 1 trauma center where she completed four years of training and rose to the level of chief resident during her final year. Dr. Adams received surgical training at St. Barnabas, Empire Surgical Center, Westmed Medical Center in Rye, and St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown, New York. She is well trained and confident in rendering podiatric care involving diabetic foot care, routine care, wound care, limb salvage, dermatological conditions of the foot and ankle, nail surgeries, and surgical procedures involving soft tissue and osseous abnormalities in the forefoot, ankle, and rearfoot, including reconstructive surgical procedures.
Dr. Adams is a proud member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. She is a diplomate and board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).

I highly recommend Dr. Adams and her staff. I was greeted when I walked in and was checked in about 15 minutes after my arrival. After reviewing my X-rays the doctor told me what I’ve been hearing from other doctors but told me the one thing the others didn’t, that I needed an MRI. She also recommended orthotics that I could use in the meantime. Thank you so much Dr. Adams!

Dr. Adams is wonderful, I was actually referred to her from another doctor within her speciality and I'm so glad I did. She is nonjudgmental, very informed, and provides information on how to heal with great recommendations for follow up. I asked her if we can get further imaging, and she was happy to do so- which actually led to a more informed diagnosis. It also made me feel comfortable that she was willing to listen, validate my concerns and create a treatment plan for recovery.

I was pleasantly surprised that I was seen immediately after completing the necessary paperwork for a new patient. After the assistant ushered me into an examination room, the doctor looked in and said “I’ll be right with you”. When she came in, she introduced herself and asked what brought me in today. She was very pleasant and listened to my concerns and asked clarifying questions. I was happy with the treatment plan. I definitely recommend Dr. Adams.

The office staff were so friendly and helpful - I arrived early because of the bus schedule, and I was able to be seen right away! The forms given to me ahead of time were accepted (ever been in an office where you do them in advance and you have to re-do them there anyway? i have!) and I felt very prepared for my appointment. Dr. Adams was incredibly kind and listened well, left room for me to ask questions, and gave me a plan for follow-up/treatment. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new podiatrist.

I had to visit both offices and each experience was great. The Nostrand office seemed a bit smoky to me, but no one else seem to be effected. I waited outside and the staff was friendly and nice enough to step out to retrieve me when it was time for me to see the doctor. The wait time was awesome, standard paperwork then see the doc. I loved that it was exactly who I booked with and I did n't have to relay my issues multiple times to a PA or medical assistant. I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Adams. I received x-rays at the Church ave location and immediate results and discussion with the doctor. A clear and concise plan of care and what I need to do and what our goals are.
