Her Medical Practice and Philosophy
Dr. Cicero's practice focuses on metabolic disease, allergies, Lyme disease, tick-borne illness, gastrointestinal health, and a variety of acute and chronic disorders. She employs many naturopathic modalities, including acupuncture, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, and homeopathy. With an eclectic style, she uses variable diagnostic tools such as applied kinesiology, laboratory testing, and functional medicine. She views each patient individually, searching for the root cause of the issue to ensure healing rather than just symptom relief.
A graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree, Dr. Cicero is committed to helping the body heal itself by educating her patients to be well-informed and active participants in their own health and wellness. “It is important for me to uplift and enlighten my patients, while I care for them, on their role in their own health and wellness. I am an educator at heart and focus a lot on the ‘why' not just the ‘what' so that each patient can continue to make informed decisions on a day-to-day basis.”

Dr. Cicero is the first provider I’ve ever had that I trust. I know she has my best interests at heart, and she takes time to ask questions and really understand where my concerns are. My health insurance policy does not cover naturopathic medicine, but worth the out of pocket investment.
